This extension of Olmsted’s design for Delaware Park speaks to the beauty and restorative nature that parks provide for people. The grove allows both survivors and families to pay tribute to loved ones through the continued planting and growth of this grove. In addition to honoring the brave and courageous women who have fought and continue to battle breast cancer, the grove helps to restore a vital connection of Delaware Park to the Parkside Neighborhood as well as Agassiz Circle.
